The classic imposter game. Spot the secret faker in your group.
One shared device · 3–15 Players
Online · separate devices · 3–15 Players
How to play
1Everyone gets the same secret word, except the imposter.
2Give one-word clues in turns without being too obvious.
Choose Guess the Player for a football guessing duel on one phone. Each person receives a secret footballer; take turns asking yes-or-no questions and guessing.
Three or more
Start with Imposter for short word clues, or Spyfall if your group prefers questions. Pick familiar categories and agree on a discussion timer before revealing roles.
Game night with four or more
Try Mafia when you want secret roles and day-and-night discussion. A human narrator uses the app to guide the group on one device. Undercover adds similar secret words to the Imposter format.
A word game for colleagues
Choose Office Life in the Imposter category picker for 40 everyday workplace words, including keyboard, meeting room and coffee machine. Use familiar topics, explain one practice round, and let everyone opt out. Other categories stay available.
Can we play these party games without downloading an app?
Yes. Open a game in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer. Installation is optional. Load the game and its content with an internet connection.
Which games can we play online with friends?
Imposter, Football Imposter and Undercover support online rooms for 3–15 players, each on their own device. Keep the secret role screen private. Use your preferred voice call for discussion if you are apart. Mafia, Spyfall and Guess the Player use a shared device here.
Which party games work for two or three players?
For two, choose Guess the Player. For three, choose Imposter, Undercover, Football Imposter or Spyfall. Mafia needs at least four. The cards show the supported limits.
Are these free party games suitable for adults and work groups?
Adults can use Office Life, food or other familiar categories for a low-pressure break. The games are free and supported by ads. Choose topics everyone knows; football rounds work best when the whole group follows football.
How do we play a party game on one phone?
Choose a game and add the players before handing the phone around. Each person should check their secret card alone and hide it before passing the device. Once everyone knows their role, put the phone where the group can use the timer and voting controls. Do not mirror the private reveal screen to a TV. For Imposter, choose Pass & Play; online rooms are the separate-device option.
What do we need for a game night without cards or equipment?
For the standard word and role games, start with a charged phone, tablet or computer and internet to load the game. You do not need printed cards or a board. If you choose the Drawing round, bring paper and a pen or another tablet. Remote drawing uses your own external shared board; there is no drawing canvas built into this game.
Which game should we choose for a short break?
Start with Imposter and familiar categories if your group wants a quick first round. Set the discussion timer in the game settings, allow time to reveal roles, then vote and discuss the result. The timer is not a promise for the whole session: larger groups need longer to pass the phone. Choose Mafia when you have time for several night-and-day phases.
Can children and beginners join these party games?
Pick familiar themes such as animals, food or everyday objects, and explain a practice round before keeping score. Start with one imposter and enable the category hint to make bluffing less intimidating. An adult should check the chosen game and categories for the group; Mafia includes fictional elimination. Let players skip unfamiliar topics, and keep accusations about clues rather than personal traits.
