Find the Imposter is our other free party game and the closest in format to the Mafia Game for instant, no-equipment play. Instead of hidden roles, players all receive a secret word, except for one or more Imposters, who receive nothing. Everyone describes the word without saying it, and the group votes to find the Imposter(s) who do not know what the word is.
It plays faster than Mafia (no night phases), works with larger groups, and has the same pass-and-play one-phone format. Categories include Animals, Food, Countries, Sports, and dozens more.

One Night Ultimate Werewolf is a streamlined, single-round variant of the classic Werewolf/Mafia format. There is only one night phase, one day of discussion, and one vote. The game ends in about 10 minutes.
What makes it unique: roles can shift during the night. Some roles (like the Troublemaker and Robber) can swap role cards between players, meaning you might end the game as a Werewolf even if you started as a Villager. This injects a layer of uncertainty that classic Mafia does not have.

The Resistance (and its fantasy-themed variant, Avalon) eliminates the biggest criticism of Mafia: you get eliminated and have to watch everyone else play.
In The Resistance, all players stay active for the entire game. A mix of Resistance fighters and Spies go on missions together; Spies secretly sabotage missions. The team with the most successful / failed missions wins. Players vote to approve or reject mission teams, and every vote is information.
No one is eliminated. The game tends to be tighter and more analytical than Mafia, with less performance and more logic.

Secret Hitler is a team-based hidden-role game with a political theme. Players are secretly divided into Liberals and Fascists (plus one player is the Secret Hitler). Fascists must pass Fascist policies and eventually elect Hitler as Chancellor; Liberals must pass enough Liberal policies or find and assassinate Hitler.
Unlike Mafia, the game has a persistent board with escalating stakes, the longer the Fascists stall, the more powerful their options become. This creates genuine tension across the full game.

The key difference from Mafia: there are actual tasks to complete (mini-games), meaning Imposters can fake being busy. Discussion and voting happen after each reported body.

Spyfall is a social deduction game with a clever twist: all players except one know the secret location (e.g., "pirate ship", "hospital"). The odd player out is the Spy, and they do not know the location. Players take turns asking each other questions about the location. The Spy tries to figure out where they are; everyone else tries to identify the Spy without giving the location away to them.
It is fast (about 8 minutes per round), hilarious, and very different in tone from Mafia, lighter, more conversational, less strategic.

Coup is a micro-game of pure bluffing. Coup distils the bluffing element of Mafia into a tight 15-minute card game. It works with small groups (2–6) and can be played back to back quickly.
