How to play Guess the Player
Play Guess the Player free, no download. Two players, one phone: each gets a secret footballer, ask yes/no questions, race the chess clock, and be first to guess your friend's player.
Each player gets a footballer
The app secretly assigns each of you a real player from your chosen leagues and difficulty.
Look in private
Tap to see your player, then pass the phone, no peeking at each other's screen.
Ask yes/no questions
Take turns: "Does he play in the Premier League? Is he a defender?" One question per turn.
Choose your timer
Countdown starts at 20 seconds per turn. Tap to reset it; reaching zero does not decide a winner. Chess Clock gives each player separate time, with an option to add time when it runs out.
Guess to win
Think you know your opponent's player? Name them. First correct guess wins the duel.
1,300+ footballers and 190+ legends, free and always ready
No app to install, nothing to print. Guess the Player runs in your browser on one shared phone, each player privately gets a secret footballer, then you take turns asking yes/no questions and racing the chess clock. From today's stars to Pelé, Maradona and Zidane, in six languages.
Ask useful yes/no questions and keep the duel fair
Start with a broad question about your friend's secret footballer: their nationality, position or a league they have played in. Use each answer to narrow the possibilities before guessing a name. Agree whether questions about former clubs are allowed, especially when legends are included. Choose leagues and a difficulty both players know; the hardest setting is not necessarily the most enjoyable match. Each player should see their own card privately and hide it before passing the phone. If a footballer is unfamiliar, use the swap request during the reveal and let your opponent approve it. Pause the duel when you need a break. This is a local two-player game on one shared device, and refreshing the page ends the current match.
